Monitoring is a key element of the MFRC\u2019s Restoration Principles. The Forest-level Restoration Committees’ engagement in monitoring will depend upon specific interests, capacity and funding. In addition, monitoring can be an important tool in building agreement on forest restoration projects. Finally, the results of monitoring should be evaluated (summary report and collaborative meeting) on an annual basis and the results utilized in future projects in order to complete the adaptive management feedback loop.<\/p>\n
